Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, where the land holds sacred space for deep healing and restoration.
Still Mountain Wellness Retreat is a place to unplug, reconnect with nature, and remember what it feels like to be whole. We believe that true wellness happens when our mind, body and spirits are in balance, so our teachers draw on decades of experience to guide you through restorative breathwork, somatic healing, meditation, and healing through food.
Rooted in ancient practices and compassionate service, we are dedicated to helping you recover from the stress, anxiety, and burnout of modern life. No matter which retreat experience you choose, you will leave with the tools and daily rituals you need to restore energy, build resilience, and support lasting wellbeing.
Nestled in the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains, our 240 acres land is always a co-creator on every retreat.

Each experience is designed to support transformation that continues into daily life.

We host a range of retreats that combine traditional Eastern practices with Western methods. Our team includes Kaivalyadhama-trained teachers holding master's degrees in Yoga and Ayurveda, IAYT-certified yoga therapists, instructors with thousands of hours of Yoga Alliance training, and specialists in Vipassana Meditation and Biomechanics. Every instructor brings years of practical experience to help you learn tools you can take home.

All meals are prepared in our organic, vegan kitchen using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Grounded in Ayurvedic nutrition and functional health, our food focuses on whole, anti-inflammatory ingredients that are easy on digestion. We design every menu to support your daily energy, help your body reset, and complement the work you do during your retreat.

Real healing needs quiet, uninterrupted time. We offer both private and shared room options set across our 240-acre mountain property. Outfitted with simple, comfortable furnishings and cozy organic linens, each space gives your body a calm environment to unwind. Stepping away from daily noise helps quiet your mind, restore your energy, and give you the mental space needed to reset.

Learning a practice is one thing; keeping it going at home is another. Every retreat includes structured follow-up support to help you build what you learned into your normal schedule. We provide direct follow-up calls and monthly check-ins so you can ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, and stay connected with our teachers and community.

Our 240-acre land is an active part of the retreat experience. We use proceeds from our retreats to care for this property through conservation and land stewardship. We work alongside organizations like the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), USDA, FSA, Xerces Society, and Point Blue Conservation Science to preserve the local ecosystem.

Personal healing extends beyond individual benefit. To support our broader community, paid retreats help fund scholarships for select partners. These programs offer survivors of abuse and trauma a safe, quiet space to rebuild confidence and regain balance.
Deepak’s roots trace back to the banks of the sacred Ganga near Haridwar, India, a region shaped for generations by seekers, sages, and a reverence for nature.
In this tradition, spiritual life is not about joining a religion or following a rigid belief system; it is about being a sincere seeker of truth. The practice is simple: observing life, living consciously, and turning inward.
Still Mountain grew from this same principle. Real healing doesn't require more effort, striving, or performance. Often, it begins when you feel safe enough to slow down, quiet the noise, and rest.
This 240-acre land exists as a straightforward, welcoming sanctuary, a quiet place in nature to step away from daily stress, regain clarity, and reset.
Real guest voices, kept close to their natural wording, shared as quiet reflections.

Simple rooms, soft textures, shared meals, and unhurried spaces support the deeper work of rest.
